This place is awesome. The staff is amazing. Craft cocktails that will knock your socks off. And the food was great too. Dont miss it.
This place is, in one word, awesome. Located on a quiet street in a suburban neighborhood, you head downstairs and into a relaxed, low key bar that has some of the best drinks around. The staff are not only super nice, they're very knowledgeable about the drinks, flavours, and even ingredients. My suggestion, ask for the Queen is Dead drink. Fantastic. The stone walls inside, low lighting, and subdued mood is perfect.
Such a cool atmosphere and the drinks are really good. Foods pretty good but an afterthought when compared to the drinks
Mike behind the bar is a gem! Personable, engaging, and spinning great tunes! You ca tell he really cares about the environment, customers, and his team members.
Good food and drinks. Atmosphere is a little dark but it's got that speak easy vibe
Great ambiance. Such a fun experience. Bar tender is very attentive, even when all you get is food and water. There is an incredible selection of alcohol to choose from and a few food items. Fries are fantastic and they have super unique dips to choose from. It can get very loud when a lot of people are there but it's definitely worth the trip. A fun outdoor area through the back too.
I like this bar a lot. It is dark with brick, stone and arches. Lots of character. The drinks were mixed really well. A great spirit and beer list to enjoy! I got the impression that this is where locals go and not a tourist trap, so that is another bonus. I would go back here next Time I’m here. Lots of character.
This place is great! Fun little speak-easy-esque spot with fantastic ambiance and some delicious food. The highlight however is definitely the restrooms! Great double swinging doors and foot pedal activated faucets. Love it
Very cool place to have a drink. Great music and selection of drinks. The only way it would be better is if they had scotch! 😁
Hidden Gem! A very chill place to hang for a nightcap and food. Great craft beer, Amazing thought provoking craft Cocktails. And the service was fantastic! Heck yah!
If you want someone to have a delicious, classy, intimate drink in Portland, visit Bramhall. Great for a romantic sit-down date or casual drinks with friends, really unique selections of cocktails, extensive whiskey list, and incredible ambiance. Definitely don't miss a picture of the Bramhall Pub sign or the chimney lit with a pile of dripping candles - and in the girl's bathroom they have a pump sink! One of my favorite things is that it's lit mostly by candlelight, so the vibe is warm, cozy, and intimate.
Great cocktail spot, and a nice outdoor patio (dog-friendly!) for these Covid times
It is a nice place. I will never come in again, hipsters. Preparation + opportunity = Good Luck You could thrive.
I loved it! Cozy, brick and stone with arches in a timely lit cave Haven. Tasty wines, great straight forward beer selection, yummy truffle fries. Perfect candle lit spot for inspiring conversation. 🌱
Best buffalo wings in portland
Cool atmosphere!! Slightly hard to spot from the street. One of the best burgers I have ever had!!
Unique ambiance and chill vibe. Great cocktails if you want to try something different. Bartenders are knowledgeable. Service is good and food is tasty. Rotating devilled eggs recipes and their Truffle Fries are 👍👍A great place for a drink and a bite to eat.
This place was neat. In an old basement with a great low-key atmosphere. Dim candle-lit space with great drinks.
Thank you, Bramhall for a lovely 20th anniversary dining experience. You helped make Wednesday night special. :) Your food was spectacular, drinks delicious and the cheesecake divine. The brick, wood and soft lighting of your space is our perfect setting. We can't believe we've never been there and we will be back soon for sure.
We were hopping around Portland to find as many unique bars as possible (and there are quite a few) we ended up at Bramhall twice that night! Good beer and a LOT of liquor to choose from! Staff was friendly and very outgoing. We didnt get food but the food we did see come out looked fand smelled fantastic!
Had an amazing late lunch there, Beet Salad on Arugula with deep fried goat cheese balls and pistachios, so good!!! I had two cocktails: linen sheets & top down, both so fragrant and delicious! Excellent service and patio dining is definitely the way to go on a beautiful day.
Great atmosphere, bartenders, cocktails, and local beer selection. Menu is familiar, but interesting and not overwhelming. My favorite spot all-around.
Great beer and wine selection. Fabulous service and wonderful ambiance. What more could you want?
If I could do a 4.5, I would but it’s not a five star. The food was quite good—we had the deviled eggs and the arugula salad to start and had no complaints. In general I think you’ll find each of the food items very acceptable but just not great. Prices are very reasonable and the vibe is very different from your average bar or quiet local restaurant. Truffle fries are good but better at several places elsewhere in Portland. My cut is that it’s worth a try if you haven’t been here and enjoy yet another Portland bar/restaurant that’s going to make for an enjoyable evening.
You walk downstairs, pull back a curtain and then voila, your escape from the real world. No windows or TVs at this bar which really adds to the atmosphere and vibe. Incredible anesthetic. They have an enormous drink menu with reasonable pricing and a small dinner menu that is also reasonably priced and very good. The bartender was friendly and conversational and knowledgeable without being too pushy or overbearing. If I lived in Maine I'd go here every day.
